Overall Objectives:
The Client Solutions and Technical Business Analyst is responsible for bridging client, operational, business, and technical requirements into clear, actionable, and practical solutions. The role ensures Red Planet’s platforms and services are implemented, supported, and enhanced in a way that delivers measurable value to clients while aligning with business operations, product strategy, and technical architecture.
The role combines client engagement, operational support, business analysis, and technical solution delivery, with a strong focus on Insurance Premium Financing operations and client outcomes.
Position Overview
The Client Solutions and Technical Business Analyst works closely with clients, operations, development, and QA teams to analyse business processes, support client inquiries, define functional requirements, and support end-to-end solution delivery.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, operational understanding, technical aptitude, and excellent stakeholder communication. The role supports solution analysis, troubleshooting, system configuration, testing, and deployment activities, while ensuring requirements and client expectations are clearly understood, prioritised, and successfully delivered.
The Client Solutions and Technical BA is expected to be proactive, adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable working across multiple initiatives concurrently.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Business & Requirements Analysis
- Analyse and respond to support, operational, and enhancement requests, ensuring accurate understanding, prioritisation, and documentation of business and technical requirements.
- Translate client and operational needs into clear functional requirements and solution outcomes.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for operational and system improvements.
Technical Analysis & Solution Support
- Support system configuration, validation, troubleshooting, and solution analysis activities.
- Utilise SQL for data analysis, issue investigation, validation, and troubleshooting.
Project & Delivery Support
- Support project delivery activities including scope clarification, testing coordination, release readiness, and deployment support.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, operations, Developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Participate in integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage directly with clients to understand business processes, operational challenges, and objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
- Maintain clear, professional, and solution-focused communication across stakeholders.
Product & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to product, process, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Support documentation standards, knowledge sharing, and delivery best practices across teams.
Skills & Experience
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Client Solutions, or Operations Analyst within the insurance industry.
- Strong experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into practical system solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, Support, and Operations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience supporting client inquiries, operational issues, or system enhancements.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Preferred:
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Insurance Premium Financing operations
- Property & Casualty Insurance
- Insurance Brokerage operations
- Insurance payments or premium finance platforms
