Meet “Stella” – Your AI Chatbot Assistant

If you’re using Odyssey version 2502, you may have noticed a new icon at the bottom right of your menu screen. That’s Stella, our brand-new AI-powered chatbot!

Stella is here to assist with all your Odyssey-related queries. While she’s still learning, she’s designed to make your experience smoother by providing quick answers and guidance.

  • Try her out – ask questions and explore what she can do!
  • Help us improve her – your feedback will be instrumental in training Stella to be even smarter.

Odyssey’s Next Generation – What’s Ahead

Our next-generation Odyssey interface is well underway! We’ve successfully upgraded 400 out of 600 programs in the standard Odyssey codebase, with the remaining updates rolling out in the coming months.

  • Coming soon: The first look at the new Loan Enquiry program. Don’t worry—the current version will still be available on the menu, so you can transition at your own pace.

The Evolution of Odyssey

Did you know that Odyssey has undergone four major transformations over the years? Some of our long-time users might even remember the very first version – built in COBOL and running on a UNIX system! We’ve come a long way, and the best is yet to come.

PCIDSS 4.0 – What You Need to Know

If your business accepts credit card payments, it’s crucial to stay compliant with PCIDSS version 4.0.

At Red Planet Software, we’re certified at SAQ-SP compliance level, meaning that if all credit card transactions are handled online by your clients (and your team does not take card details over the phone), your company only needs to attest to the SAQ-A level—which is a much simpler process.

Payrix Users – A Simple Compliance Solution

If you’re using Payrix as your payment gateway, their SaferPayments tool provides step-by-step guidance to achieve and maintain SAQ-A compliance. This service is available for $24.95 + GST AUD/month.
